EVENINGS ON BOARD
Your days can be as full or as relaxed as you wish. But
when the stars come out (in more ways than one), it’s
time to kick up your heels.
On black tie nights, will it be a flirty cocktail dress or
sweeping gown? Full tuxedo or sharp tailored suit? Will
you celebrate with bubbles in the Champagne bar or
a Martini in the cocktail lounge? Or, as the ivories start
tinkling in The Crow’s Nest, a G&T with a twist of lime?
Show stopping entertainment
If the repartee at dinner has put you in the mood
for dancing, it’s time to let loose in the night clubs,
but just so you know, the applause might not be for
your moves! A few venues away in the theatre, top
performers could be belting out hit songs from West
End musicals and Broadway, or thrilling audiences with
daring displays by dance troupes or cabaret acts.
Often guest entertainers from the world of show
business take centre stage to perform and meet
passengers. Watch some fancy footwork on our
special Strictly Come Dancing-themed cruises, with
special appearances from dancers and judges on the
hit BBC show.
And when it comes to laughter, our stand-ups deliver
the funniest gags, just don’t arrive late or you might
end up on the razor-sharp edge of comedy! Perhaps
your luck will be better placed in the casino with a
game of cards or a flutter on the roulette?
For those quieter moments, how about a chat
over drinks in a cosy corner? The pub hosts
quizzes and karaoke or head to the big screen for
the latest blockbusters.
And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten children. If
they’d rather spend the evening with their new-
found friends than their parents – and let’s face
it; they probably do – they can expect a bumper
programme of their own dedicated events. There
are fully supervised discos, the opportunity for a spot
of karaoke or they can sink back into a beanbag and
watch a movie.

good. And the best part is, it’s all just a short stroll
from your room. So whenever your night ends, there’s
no queue for cabs or a snack (you can satisfy late night
cravings at the buffet).
