So, how do you ensure each family member is happy,
entertained and relaxed at all times? Luckily, we know
a thing or two about that.
Along with the chance to explore lots of fascinating new
countries, our family-friendly cruise ships – Aurora, Azura,
Britannia, Oceana and Ventura – are packed with lots of
exciting features that will definitely tick all your boxes.
COMFY CABINS
There are various cabin options to accommodate
everyone adequately. Some rooms, such as the twin
cabins, have fold down beds from the ceiling or the
wall. Other cabins, mini-suites and suites, have extra
sofa beds. Some ships also have interconnecting
rooms*, perfect for extended families to be positioned
together to share babysitting duties if necessary.
*Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
STRESS-FREE MEALTIMES
We lay on a special early tea with children’s favourites
to suit younger tastes. But if your little one is more into
olives than baked beans there are a few adventurous
options from the main menu. Extra high chairs are
available and our Reef Rangers will be on hand to help.
If you prefer, the relaxed, informal buffet is available
from early morning to late evening and has a wide
selection of dishes, so you’re certain to find something
you all enjoy. And if you’d rather all dine together in
the main restaurant, that’s fine too.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY EXCURSIONS
Optional excursions feature everything from
treasure-hunts, trips to waterparks and beaches,
dolphin or whale watching, plus specifically designed
adventure trips and family city tours, complete
with arranged transport, entrance fees and English
speaking guides. All you need to do is turn up and
enjoy your time together.
ACTIVITIES ON BOARD
You can all get involved – why not splash about in the
pool, shoot some hoops on the sports court, organise
a game of footie or watch a blockbuster movie
together? However you choose to spend your time,
you’re bound to spawn lots of memories, stories
and laughter.
SPORTS AND CLASSES
In the school holidays our family-friendly ships
sometimes run things like soccer schools – check for
availability. On board Britannia you can encourage your
child’s culinary skills in The Cookery Club’s
master-classes for budding chefs and mini bakers.
