ensure a swift embarkation, please do not arrive
earlier or later than your confirmed time. Your
E-Ticket can be downloaded via your Cruise

details). We will notify you, via email, when your

retrieve your E-Ticket you will need to have been
allocated a cabin and will have to provide all of
the required pre-cruise information, which can
be updated through Cruise Personaliser.
Environmental
responsibilities
We take our environmental responsibilities very
seriously and are committed to reducing our
environmental impact. We are dedicated to
preserving the marine environment in which we
operate, and therefore believe it is our duty to
introduce environmental practices which set a
high standard of excellence and responsibility.
To support our aim we have developed
an environmental management system
independently certified to ISO 14001, which
is the most widely recognised global standard
for improving environmental performance. We
recognise that without appropriate treatment
the waste generated on board our ships,
together with the fuel and other products we
use to transport, feed, entertain and take care of
you could have an impact on the environment.
Our waste treatment facilities ensure that
all waste water is appropriately managed to
minimise its impact upon the oceans. All general
waste is treated on board to reduce its volume
prior to landing ashore, and wherever possible
general waste is recycled. We are reducing our
air emissions through the implementation of
fuel efficiency measures, including improved
hull coatings, low energy lamps, increased
recirculation of waste heat and improved
efficiency in air conditioning, and we continue
to explore new technologies. Through these
measures and other initiatives P&O Cruises will
ensure that we help preserve our environment
for future generations.
Extend your holiday
On many of our fly-cruise holidays P&O Cruises
offer pre and post cruise City Stays and Land Tours
to allow you to really experience your start and/
or end destination with an expert local guide. Our
tour packages include transfers, accommodation,
excursions and selected meals. Tours can be
booked with P&O Cruises online or through our
Customer Contact Centre on 0843 374 0111.
Terms and conditions apply see page 202 for
further details.
We reserve the right to change accommodation,
the order of activities and sights outlined in the
tour descriptions without prior notification.
If, for operational reasons, we need to
fundamentally alter the content of the tour, we
will be in contact prior to your holiday.

Safety
We know children love to be active and explore,
so all of our activities and facilities have been
designed to be child-friendly. Each of The Reef’s
rooms feature secure door entry systems and
in the balcony cabins there are protective
balcony nets, available on request. There are
‘sign in’ and ‘sign out’ procedures for the 2-12
year olds, including a registration form which
must be completed for every child before they
attend the programme. We recommend that
you attend one of the initial registration sessions
on embarkation day so your children can be
registered for the first session. All our Reef
Rangers have extensive experience of planning
and facilitating activities for 2-17 year olds, as
well as having enhanced DBS (Disclosure and
Barring Service) checks. Finally, in the unlikely
event that you need them, our on board medical
centres are fully equipped and staffed by
qualified doctors and nurses. For every child’s
enjoyment and safety we have a strict child to
staff ratio within The Reef. We therefore operate
on a first come, first served basis. If there is a
high demand for a session, unfortunately we
cannot guarantee a place for every child.
